Cult BBC TV programme Dr Who is set to be broadcast simultaneously to at least 75 different countries tonight. Today, 23rd November, marks the 50th anniversary of the world’s longest running sci-fi series. In celebration of the milestone a 75-minute special entitled The Day of the Doctor will be shown to millions of fans around the world. The episode will feature the current doctor, Matt Smith, and his predecessor David Tennant as well as a few other familiar faces.
