Phablet is a new word that was recently added to the Oxford dictionary in 2013 is a word made up of a phone and a tablet. Phablet (/ˈfæblɪt/) is a smart gadget designed to combine or straddle the functionalities of a smartphone and tablet, eliminating the need for two devices. A Phablet is usually fitted with a touchscreen between 5 to 6.9 inches (130 to 180 mm) in size. Our correspondents at PING magazine predicts huge fight among smartphones, tablets and Phablet in 2014.
