Smule’s latest app CineBeat, allows you to put Instagram-style filters on your videos, giving you a variety of iMovie-style editing tools by simply clicking a button on a mobile phone. It also provides a musical soundtrack to fit the video. The app chief developer Praga Chordia had earlier developed LaDiDa and Songify apps that take spoken words and convert them into music. With the incorporation of video, he has simplified the possibility for any clip to be turned into a music video. The designers say, their aim is to harness technology to help people become better musicians. Very soon with this new app, we would witness a huge variety of singers displaying talents in varied forms and styles from everywhere across the reach of internet. It is hoped that YouTube would stay strong enough to hold uploads. DIY music and music videos is born.
