Pirated Games takes over as Nintendo Wii U hacked

I guess some consumers are always happy when top game platform like Nintendo Wii is hacked. The reason is simple which means players   can play copied games. The famous hardware modifiers group WiiKey who previously created a chip for people to play pirated Wii game is been accused for the hacking.

However Nintendo spokesperson has made a statement to Eurogamer  that said “Nintendo is aware that a hacking group claims to have compromised Wii U security,” and “However, we have no reports of illegal Wii U games nor unauthorized applications playable on the system while in Wii U mode.”

The companies spokes person confirms that “Nintendo will continuously monitors all threats to its products’ security and will use technology and will take the necessary legal steps to prevent the facilitation of piracy.”

At the end of the day most teenagers do not want to pay for games but game companies needs to make money.
